At Our Community Hunger Center, we do more than provide food — we walk alongside people during their hardest seasons. Whether it's a family facing job loss, a senior choosing between groceries and medication, or a child who needs a warm meal during the holidays, our programs are designed to bring relief, dignity, and hope.

We provide a 7-day supply of fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Each box is packed with care — with balanced nutrition in mind and respect for dietary needs when possible.
Appointments ensure privacy and allow us to prepare for each unique family.

No one should have to choose between food and basic hygiene. We provide:
Soap, shampoo, deodorant, and feminine care items
Toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products
Laundry detergent and other household staples
These items help restore dignity and improve everyday life for those we serve.

Based on availability, we offer gently used clothing, bedding, and small household items. These essentials help families stretch limited resources further and meet daily needs with comfort and care.

Many of the people we serve are eligible for public benefits — they just need help navigating the process.
We help clients:
Learn about and apply for SNAP (food stamps)
Explore utility assistance programs
Connect with other community resources for housing, healthcare, or support
We walk alongside you, not just hand you a pamphlet.

We believe everyone deserves to feel special — especially during the holidays.
Each year, we offer:
Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas meal support
Toys, candy, and small gifts for children
Seasonal extras to make the holidays joyful, not stressful
These programs are made possible by donations and volunteers who want to brighten someone’s season.

We understand that transportation can be a barrier. For clients in our service area who are unable to travel — due to age, disability, or medical issues — we offer limited delivery services on a case-by-case basis.
Please contact us to see if you qualify.

We believe we’re stronger when we work together. That’s why we actively collaborate with:
Local churches
Businesses
Civic groups
Other food pantries and nonprofits
These partnerships allow us to expand our reach, multiply our impact, and respond faster when needs arise.
If you’d like to partner with us or host a drive, we’d love to hear from you.

We love working with local businesses, schools, churches, and civic groups to host food drives and community events that make a real difference.
Whether you’re a small team or a large company, your group can:
Collect non-perishable food and essential items
Host an on-site packing or volunteer event
Sponsor a holiday program or distribution day
Engage employees in meaningful service
Increase your impact through matching donations or team fundraising
We provide support every step of the way.

Just A Little Help Can Make Their Hearts Happier.
Our Community Hunger Center was founded 25 years ago in the Old School House in Macedonia by Carol A. Robinson, whose mission was simple: treat every neighbor in need like family. That mission still guides everything we do.
Over the years, with the help of generous community support, dedicated volunteers, and kind donations, we’ve helped tens of thousands of families facing food insecurity and financial hardship. Because when life gets hard, no one should feel alone — especially not in our community.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Choice Pantry member of the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank, we operate with accountability and integrity. We’re also proud members of the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce, working hand-in-hand with local partners to serve more families, more effectively.
We don’t just serve the community — we are the community. As long-time local residents, we know the challenges our neighbors face. We listen with care, connect people with helpful resources, and offer practical support in moments when it matters most.
